Benchmade anthem

^ this ^
I remember looking thru my BM catalogue a few years ago and REALLY wanting that beautiful knife but it was about $100 overpriced (more than I was willing to spend for it.)

It is/was a neat knife.
My big regret is they weren’t around long enough for me to pick one up at a good discount.

Glad I got one when they were available, even though the price was too high.

I like the integral handle, good action, and robust axis lock design. The action is almost too good - the blade has near zero resistance when the axis lock is disengaged.

This thread was started at the perfect time! I was sitting here watching football; trying to figure out the name of this knife!
I dig the "unibody construction", and the way that this knife's lock operates.
And YES: this knife desperately needs to br brought back!!

Benchmade's knives are absurdly priced and they will never change that fact.
Well in my opinion there are some knives that are definitely overpriced such as the anthem, but when you hold a Benchmade knife you can tell that it is a lot better and higher quality than most knives.

Try the MBK XLC, good price point, one heck of a integral, wickedly thin, and it’s a Laconico design. The price was the only thing that kept me away from the Anthem. And the pocket clip.
