Benchmade Ascent

I've been going through my knives with the intent of reducing the size of my Benchmade collection. I didn't realize how many Ascents and their variants I had picked up over the years. My very first Benchmade was an 840S Ascent and it was the knife that got me hooked on Benchmades. Of the models that followed the original Ascent my favorite is the 13402 HD Pika G10. It has G10 scales with blue anodized titanium liners and backspacer.

Here are some photos.

I remember these very well. I had a few over the years. I'd love to find a 825 Ascent..

Older photo of a few of mine. Favorite is my 831 Ascent II Utility. (Middle knife...) Simple and strong, these weren't cheap for the time.

I just missed one of your knives on the Exchange RA! By less than 5 minutes!! That hurt!!

820S was also my first Benchmade ... never a favourite, the geometry is more akin to a splitting wedge than a knife and I never got a comfortable "feel" for the grip - the index and middle finger positions always felt off.
