Now that Benchmade's discontinued the Auto Axis and run out of replacement blades it seems like obtaining replacement parts make more sense than shipping these knives in just to get a washer/spring/bushing replaced.

Has anyone successfully found any replacement parts for any of the auto axis knives?

In particular I'm looking for replacement plastic bushings and springs for these.

Benchmade still makes several auto axis knives, it would be helpful if you told us exactly which auto axis knife you have.

Benchmade is really good about keeping parts in stock for discontinued knives, and several of the parts you mentioned (springs, bushings, and washers) might even be used in auto axis knives that are still being made.

If you sent a discontinued Benchmade back and they did not have parts to repair it, would Benchmade replace the knife with something comparable in their current lineup?

That spring looks like a common one used in button lock autos. You should be able to measure it and get a replacement through the bay or google. The bushing should be pretty simple to source or fabricate the same way.

I have the bushing measurements but I don't have a clue what it's made out of.
