Hey guys, I haven't decided yet what all I'm selling, but I need a thread to start putting stuff in so I don't have multiple bali threads, so here it is. I'll begin with a lightly used Benchmade model 47. Spring latch, 440C. Fantastic flipper, nicely tuned. This knife is in perfect working order and excellent condition. It has been lightly used and sharpened. There are some light scratches on the blade. The pictures are of the actual knife being sold. Asking $420 --> $400 --> $390 --> $375 shipped (Sold). Stay tuned for more balisongs (unless I decide to keep 'em :D)

Another one up for sale: A very rare Military Finish BM 42 AS. This is an early 42, and has the 12c27 blade steel as well as the T-latch. Another sign of this knife being a very early 42 is the lack of a big belly on the blade. Notice how the blade profile is narrower, more boot-style, than newer 42s. This knife is mint in the box and has never been used, sharpened or carried. It comes with the original box, sheath, and paperwork. Now to the special finish:

Many years ago, Benchmade experimented with a "military" beadblast finish on their anodized knives. They were just tests at the factory, but by mistake, a few were released into production. The finish is a dull purple/gray, matte, very different from the brighter and shinier blue/purple anodization on the typical 42A. The last pic shows the difference between a "military finish" 42 and the more typical 42A. These military finish knives are very rare. In seven years of looking at hundreds and hundreds of balis each year, I have only seen 2 or 3 at most. It's kind of neat, and a nice collector piece. $500 --> $485 --> $475 --> $465 --> $450 --> $435 --> $425 shipped + Free 12-knife case (see pic above)

wow i want that 42as military finish so bad but i cant quite afford could you let me know if you come across any regular 42 spring latched i would buy it in a heartbeat.
