Benchmade Barrage Family Interchangeable Parts? Intresting Inquiry

Hello everyone I was wondering if the benchmade barrage family have interchangeable parts which could be changed on different model variations for example the:

or
http://www.benchmade.com/products/583-1 <----583SBK-1

The reason I ask is because I have a 583SBK-1 and was wondering if I could use the barrage 580BK for spare parts, like replacing the black serrated tanto blade with the normal 580BK black plain edge blade? or maybe interchange the scales? ; for me it sounds plausible because the only difference I can see between specs is the 583SBK-1 blade is .06 longer but apart from that they are the same; I doubt benchmade changed the whole knife model. my thinking is that they just made the blade a bit longer to incorporate the tanto point ,that's all. anyways I would love feedback from you guys, thanks for your help.

Benchmade will replace blades. $25 for satin and $35 for black.

No need to tear apart a knife.
 
Yes but they will not change the tanto blade for a plain edge blade, so the only way this can be done is individually.

I did not know that. I guess technically it is a different model number.

So yes. You can swap the blades yourself.
