Benchmade BK1 Coating

It wears pretty quickly.



This knife was rebladed by Benchmade, and used for about 2 months afterward. You can see the wear forming in the center and on the tip

 
Quickly, I think my old 940 lasted a couple days at work before cardboard stripped a couple sections of it, maybe just one night of edge retention testing.

I also see very little reason for its use.
