Does Benchmade sell Blems or seconds like other company do ?

No, they don't generate any seconds since everything qualifies as "QC Passed", regardless of issue.

Ok, all humor aside, I have yet to see any. You can contact the company directly, but I dont think they would have any to sell directly. Primarily considering their stance on warranty work, they would probably take anything back and replace/repair if it could be considered a "second" or had a flaw that a customer didn't want or thought grievous enough to warrant sending in.
 
Usually the last Saturday of November (if memory serves) has a blem sale at the factory. Gotta be there in person though, and the good stuff goes FAST.
 
NJ Blink you made my point clear . There is no way a company can make Zero mistakes and sell everything as 100% perfect . That's the problem with benchmade they don't have a QC they want to sell everything . Kershaw has a end of year sale They put out all of their Blems and sell them Spyderco does the same . They don't lose money they sell them to people that know what hey are getting . Why can't benchmade do the same .

Every thread that starts with Benchmade has a QC complaint . Sell the blem direct to the customer at the price you will sell them to the dealer mark the the blade as second and you don't lose money . As is no refund no warranty .

I mean when you have people complaining that their Anthem is off center and there is blade play after reading that I for sure don't want to take a chance . Take a look at Spyderco they mark PM2 Sprint Run as second then sell them as second . Benchmade warranty is awesome and In My opinion warranty should be good after used not before .
 
Interesting to know about the factory sale. Given the title of this posting I waited to read comments. 'Benchmade Blem' makes me smile. True, nothing's perfect but a good way to start the day! :D

It usually happens the same weekend as that sale. I’ve been to the BM factory sale and bought knives, so it’s not like I’m making this up :-)

If this sale isn’t occurring anymore, I’m sure Jimmy could shed some light on it.
 
It's been 8-10 years or so since we last had a factory sale. We didn't sell blems or seconds but we did sell "close out" items at a discount.
