benchmade blueish tint

am i right in thinking that the bm 520 presidio has a blueish tint on the handle like it does here

No, it's black.

and if you could only have one knife in the world of these 2 would you take the 520 or 721??

My 520 is heavy, solid and grippy. Everything about this knife screams practical and dependable. I've not handled a 721, but I know it's a bit smaller... I'd stick with the 520, just for the extra size.

But I still want a 721.

P.S. You should use punctuation.

It is black. Which is better is up to you. I have a 5500 Presideo that I think is a great knife, for me anyway.

The only complaint I levy against the Presidio is that the aluminium handles absorb heat and get very cold in winter. Otherwise, it's a very solid brute of a knife. If you want a hard-use EDC that has a little fun(AXIS) to it, consider one. Even though the 721 gives G-10 as a handle option, I think I'd rather have the 520. But it is a good toss-up.

thanks for the help, i went for the presidio, ive sold a bunch of my collection lately and am buying different knives to get my next hit. i was thinking of getting a 721 and yojimbo maybe but looks like that for the pice of those 2 in the uk...i could get a small seb from the US instead.
