Anyone have one they've been using regularly? It looks like the handle is a bit larger than that on the Mini Grip and I really like G10.

I'm really looking for thoughts on them in comparison to the Mini Grip:thumbup:

I have mini-grips and I have a large Bone Collector. If the small Bone Collector is anything like the large, than it will be quite a bit bigger than a mini grip. And maybe not in a good way. The Bone collector is thick. The scales on each side have a bit of thickness to them so it makes a fairly bulky knife. I'm sure the small is going to be thinner but if it has the same proportions then it will still be a bit thicker than a mini grip. While that can make carrying it a little more cumbersome, it does make it easier and more comfortable to hold on to.

Maybe try to hold one or see what others have to say. Other than that, it is an awesome knife. Sculpted G10, drilled liners, and a D2 blade. The hole in the blade is covered some by the handles when closed but it is still easy enough to open. The large can be had for ~$92 and the small 10 or 15 bucks cheaper so it is also a good price.

I'm pretty much in the same boat as FMB. I've had several minigrips and have played with the large bonegrip. I was really surprised by how much larger the bonegrip fullsize was compared to the grip full size (and I had them at the same time so I could make a good comparison). The Bonegrip is MUCH thicker, and as I recall, it actually ended up being longer too.

That said, the bonegrip feels and looks way higher quality than the grip. I love the 3D G10 and the green/black layering looks great.

So is the bonegrip worth the price increase? Yeah, probably, but it depends on what you're looking for. Minigrips are beaters and you might not be that willing to behave the same with a $100 knife that looks so much nicer. And depending on your preferences on thickness, the bonegrip may be too much--I mean, I'm just estimating here, but it felt as wide as my kershaw offset.

I have a Mini Bone Collector and it is comparable to the Mini Grip. I don't have a Mini Grip but have handled them. The LG. Bone collector is a big knife so I went with the Mini.

You left the ritter mini grip out of the last two pictures. I would love to see what the mini ritter looks like open, closed, and side by side to the standard mini grip. You have any pics?
