Photos BENCHMADE BUGOUT

I do and I really like it, but oddly, it's the lightweight that i don't like. Mine has aftermarket g10 scales, but i think i would prefer something like AWT's aluminium scales to add some weight. I really like the ergos though.20231126_144523.jpg20231126_144516.jpg

Bugouts are among the most popular high-quality knives in the US. KnifeCenter currently has 8 different models of the Bugout 535. I have four. They are great. Did you have any particular ones in mind?

Yup, I love my Bugout! It's a great little knife. Very lightweight, and the plastic-y handles are nice because you don't have to worry about scratching them up at all. It's nice just not caring about keeping it pretty and just using it like crazy. I wanted to get aftermarket scales for it for like a year but couldn't decide because there are too many different types. However over that year I decided that the plastic scales are almost better than all the rest for my application.

Nice knife full or mini size. Almost like mine better than my Mini Grips but its a close race.

I've been very happy with my Bugout. It's the carbon fiber scale/S90V model, whatever that is. Can't post a photo on this forum, as I don't have a photo host site. Maybe one day I'll get over the Photobucket debacle, and try another.

I have three bugouts. My only real gripe is that I can't stand the factory scales. My Carbon Fiber is the exception. My grivory ones are wearing G10 and Micarta.
Which adds to the total cost of the knife. Besides that I find the Bugout to be a near perfect EDC especially in populated areas and warmer months wearing lighter clothing.

Best knife I have found for discrete and comfortable back pocket carry or shorts. I rarely feel limited by its size or stoutness. A bit of a custom color way on the blue one here…

Throughout my EDC journey I’ve been trying to find a better Bugout and have come to the conclusion the Bugout is the better Bugout. I have two full-size and a mini and they combine for about 50% of my pocket time.

Cheers,
Mac

I love the Bugout but it was a little too light for my liking as well! I fixed that with a set of AWT Shadow Chrome scales! They added just the right amount of weight that I was looking for! This thing is now one of my most favorite knives!!

I picked up a Mini Bugout about three weeks ago at a local sporting goods store. Fantastic little knife.

I consider it a light duty knife that could probably handle a few minutes of aggressive cutting if necessary. Perfect for my needs. Slim and light in the pocket with a thinly ground blade. I could not be happier.

Haven't tried the Bugout. I must be the only knife geek in history that has not. My Brother likes the BO.

Had the Adamas, Mini Adamas, MC Ivory CLA and an Autofact. All fine knives, but I cashed out all my chips with BM just this week. Sent them all out to good homes for adoption.

They also add rigidity to the knife. The stock scales kept flexing. Plus, these look better!
