Benchmade, can we PLEASE, PLEASE get a SPEAR POINT version of the Axis Stryker?

The blade shape of the 913 is one of my all time favorites for any folder. It's the perfect size, it's a very useful all around shape and it's beautiful in it's simplicity. I've got one but I don't use or carry it because I'm so sold on the Axis lock. I just can't go back to a liner lock after being spoiled by the vastly superior Axis. I also don't care for the original Stryker's tip up carry.

When I saw there was going an Axis Stryker platform I was intrigued. When I saw it would be tip up carry, I was interested further. I know the tanto is the classic Stryker pattern but I like the spear point SOOOO much more. I've been over tantos since about 2001 and I know I'm not the only one. The popularity of tanto style folders has been waning for years.

Offering the Axis Stryker with the excellent modified spear point blade from the 913 would make it the perfect EDC knife. I would buy two of them today.

So, Benchmade, please, please, PUH-LEEEEEEEZE give us a spear point Axis Stryker!!!!

I agree. There's so many good things about this knife and the drop point really makes a difference!

An Axis upgrade would only make this knife better. (Although there's not much to complain about with the 913.)

These Stryker pictures you guys post kill me. What a great looking profile that thing has.

I imagine it will feel similar to the Ares. Yes?

Very similar (the 913) although much lighter with the Ti liners and thinner G-10 skins. To add a similar blade shape to the new Axis Strykers wouldn't take much.

That's it! I want one!

Missed out on an Ares recently, and would love a spear point Axis Stryker.

What if the configurations are exactly the same? does anyone who has both wanna try swapping the blade?

I'm with the OP on this one.
Between the tanto points and the nitrous mechanism, I could never really get behind the Stryker model.

The Axis lock treatment is a welcome addition, and I'd love to see a drop/spear point version too.

I still want a styker but IDK about the axis Stryker. It doesn't feel like Styker without D2.

Here's one of my 'Queens'; you can see the similarity in blade shape. This is the model 732.

I would love to see a likeness of this version returned to production, but in M390, maybe S90V, and yes, S110V.

the second i saw the new axis stryker i thought to myself "man, that handle is just begging for a spear point blade". i told my little brother (big benchmade fan ha!) that i might have to break down and buy a benchmade since the new axis stryker is so awesome.

i might pick up a tanto in the meantime, but i would definitely buy a spearpoint also if they become available.

If Benchmade offers a spearpoint axis stryker I would be willing to pay their MAP for it. Tanto blade not so much.

I'm going to scoop a tanto and keep fingers crossed the spear comes later in the year. That way I'm compelled to buy both. ;)

Sure there are guys and gals that like a tanto blade, but the real dollars are in a PE drop point blade and Benchmade knows this. Let's keep up the heat on this post, it's worth the time and effort. Won't be the first time we've asked for something and it took place.

I'm perfectly ok with this. if the 913 wasn't an AO then I would have bought one a while ago, but oh well.

I've been wanting an Ares for ages, but I've missed every single one. I hope this will come true and satisfy that void.

It's true that the pe satin spear point is the obvious awesomeness that they know we want. Bring it on, Benchmade!
