Do you all have a set of hex wrenches for your Benchmade knives? I would like to have some, but have no idea where to get them. Thoughts? Ideas?

Most benchmades take a T6 or T10 torx they can be found on Amazon or most hardware stores like home depot.

Buy a nice set of torx made by Wiha. The last thing you want is to damage the screws in your knife. Buy once, cry once.

I appreciate all of the input. I will now buy a set of torx. Think I will check on Wiha first. Thanks again everyone. Good advice for all Benchmade collectors.

As said above, T6 TORX for most screws and T10 TORX for most pivots. Good to get a full set including other drivers for times when these two don't work, and +1 on Wiha bits.

I purchased some ACE Hardware Torx drivers in a set that was on sale for about $11.00. It has everything from T5 through T10. There are some BM knives with T6 Pivots (Like the Nakamura) and having the entire set has come in very handy.

The Benchmade Blue Box torx bits are junk I own one. Most torx bit sets out there are junk been through many. The Boker one listed above which is made by Wiha in Germany has exceptional quality bits and it is the one I use now. I made a review comparing the Blue Box kit to the Boker. The gist of it is that there is no comparison get the Boker one by Wiha.

I have been looking at Benchmade knives and I am pretty sure they actually use torx-plus now. You can use a standard torx driver, but the proper one works better.

Wow, Derrick, you caused me to work my Google-fu. Hadn't heard of Torx-Plus. Wiha makes a set of Torx Plus drivers. I've had a standard set of Wiha Torx drivers for over fifteen years and have never had an issue. Had a set of the Husky drivers and the T6 bit stripped after a few uses.

Maybe it's the knife my friend. T8 rattles the pivot socket on mine, T10 is nice and snug.

You are obviously correct my friend, it does depend upon which model knife.
However, I use #6 & #9 the most.
These two work on almost everything........710, 810, Volli, 525, North Fork and all of the Griptilian series...mini & full size to name a few.
