I created a Mini Griptilian that I ordered last fall, shortly after hearing about their configurator. Just wondering when they added the Barrage and the graphics options for the blade?

Also wondering if anyone can get a decent deal on these knives. When I ordered mine, I was able to stack my Law Enforcement discount with a coupon code, making it just under $80 shipped. I like graphics idea, but it's a bit more than I would want to spend on a Mini Grip. Anyone know of any way to get a good deal on these knives?

I think that's about the best deal you will likely come across barring getting one used.

I don't like the Barrage as much as the Griptilian anyways. I was just wondering when they added the option.
I would really like to customize another one, but only if I can get another similar deal (I have a couple of great looking graphic ideas for this blade. $80 was already alot for a Griptilian, considering I have a couple minis I picked up for under $60 and a full size I got for $62 shipped (all bought new). The most I would want to spend is maybe $85-$90 shipped.

Edit: Thought you said Barrage, not barring. I'll just leave this here anyways
Not really interested in a used one (I have a couple of very specific designs in mind). Just wanted to see if it was possible to get a similar deal on a new one from their configurator.

At these prices, I just don't see that it's worth it. Even for a semi-customized Griptilian. If they would use the same design, but use a premium steel and nicer scales, I could justify it. I just looked up the prices, and apparently now the regular 154cm mini grip models are about $90. Seems out of line. Their MAP prices seem to be at least 20% above where these knives should be priced. Just a year ago, everyone had this knife listed for around $70 and you could get it cheaper if you shopped around. For $90 I would want a nice upgrade steel. I would have no problem dropping $100 or a little more on a plain model Mini Griptilian, if it had M390/Elmax/CTS-204P steel

Yep, great prices are a thing of the past. The price you see is more than likely the price you and everyone else will pay.

To the OP:

With just your LE discount, you are probably getting a better deal than most people are. Only you can determine if a particular Benchmade is worth the price they ask.
I think some may be a tad overpriced now, when compared to similar models from other manufactures, but Benchmade does offer some unique designs and they have the Axis-Lock. Personally I believe that is worth the price of admission, but you have to really be a fan of Benchmade now to pony up the asking price of some of their stuff.
