Hey there, I'm Scott new to forum.
Just bought new crooked river and to me seems a bit flawed! If I pit pressure with hands in knife to flex left or right the blade goes off center when closed I've tried everything to keep centered but when flex knife it always goes to right or left. I think I've determined its not the blade is centered stays centered where the pivot screw is but think the later 2/3s (where wood meets aluminum it seems to flex there. I put a longer wood spline there seems to help and maybe another screw towards front will help stuffin it up.
Just wanted to know anyone else noticed this.

Yea not sure it's defective or a design flaw basically any little flex in blade puts it off centered left or right when closed. Was thinking a flaw because it flexes so much and the finish is in two parts aluminium and wood and not on solid piece. Maybe I'll send back see what they have to say
