Just wanted to tell you about BM customer service Dept. Recently I bought a used AFCK from my local knife dealer. Usually I do not buy used knives but this one was in excellent condition and in the box. Its only flaw was it was missing the pocket clip. I purchased the knife for $55 (which I thought was a good deal) I contacted BM via email to inquire about purchasing a new pocket clip. A day later I recieved a email stating to provide my address and I would recieve a clip in the mail for FREE! I was very impressed with this. BM certianly had no obligation to provide me with a clip for this used knife under warranty at all. I recd the clip in the mail today and am proudly wearing my AFCK tonite.


thought you all should know good customer service does exsist. Thats why Im a dyed in the wool BM fan.

I picked up some BM 812's that were "missing" the belt clip because my "Pal", the dealer had a 'project" going. I e-mailed BM and within 30 seconds of my screen saying "mail sent", my phone rang.
I was caught off-guard!!!!! It was Travis notebloom and what a GENTLEMAN. We talked knives for quite awhile. A true Knifeknut and one heck of a REP for Benchmade. I sure hope the Big Gun of BM reads these threads once and awhile as Travis really makes Benchmade customer service shine. ALL he asks for is RESPECT and he returns it TEN-FOLD. Two days later, I had some belt clips, several belt clips!!!! To Mr. Notebloom, you DESERVE a Gigantic Christmas Bonus;) ;) ;) Wolf
 
The name Travis Noteboom and the word Gentleman are frequently together... and with good cause.
 
Aww dang, just as I was getting comfortable with the fact that I didn't really need a Benchmade I read this... now I think i'll have to get one... stang! :)
 
Chuck, I couldn't agree more !! I don't know about his deportment around a campfire, though -- but I've heard rumors!! :) It would seem appropriate to also mention Angie in BM's warranty department. Always helpful and eager to further BM's excellent reputation.
 
Yes, I haven't had the pleasure of speaking with Travis, but have gotten excellent customer service from Angie on two separate occasions, as have two of my LEO friends.
 
Well said by all.., doesn't get much better than Travis, Angie, and the whole gang at BM..., very nice people working for a company with some real integrity!

might i recommend the 940? very nice knife.
 
Spoken w/ Travis by email (very cordial and helpful) and Angie is the greatest, helpful beyond what is even expected.......... she deserves a big raise!!!!!!!!!! :) YEAH, a big raise.......... :eek: :D ;) :)
