Benchmade Deep Pocket clips are made from...

Does anyone know what metal Benchmade uses for the deep pocket clips?

I see a lot of titanium aftermarket clips availible and it just go me wondering what Benchmade uses.

I have both the silver and the black...believe they are steel. A magnet attaches pretty readily, hope this helps.

A weak steel. They bend and deform much more easily than the standard pocket clips.

Just about every pocket clip made is steel, unless otherwise noted. Companies tend to advertisethe use of Ti clips and such in their "specs" section.

That might just be the nature of every deep carry clip ever made. I've yet to find one that doesn't suck, hate them all.
