Benchmade dissapointment

well folks, I gotta say I'm bummed out with my brand new benchmade apparition. Ive had it for about two weeks, and I thought all was good. I really like the way it opens looks feels, ect. though I noticed a dull spot on the blade and was a little dissapointed untill I realized that when closed the blade is coming into contact with the spring in the handle and dulling the blade, I know because you can see the line that the blade is wearing in the spring which benchmade refers to as the optimiser bar. and you can actually feel the dull spot and see it, about 1/2-3/4" long. We'll see how good that warranty is. If not thats the last BM for me.
 
You'll probably get a bunch more response if you go to the benchmade forums and pose your concerns.

yeppers BM warranty is top notch.

after life sharp it'll be shaving sharp again.

Just contact BM warranty dept. They have good customer service.

+1 on that. The good folks there sent me an extra sheath when I explained what a pain it was to move my Benchmade H20 from one PFD lashing tab (fishing) to another (touring). Now I can simply pop the knife off of one vest and onto the other.
