Some one took this knife apart and dident do something right when they put it back together it will not lock, will it be ok if i send it to you and you can see if you can do something for it. and i also have a Benchmade Dont know what model it is, with a loose stop pin. just giving you a heads up that i will be sending them, if that is ok. Just tell me what i owe you and i will send the money out as soon as you know. Thanks
 
Just the knives for now are fine. I quit taking money up front until I know I can get things turned around quickly again and right now I'm behind.

I can probably fix em up for ya.

Got your knives. UPS came while we were out shopping and left them sitting on my porch. One of the reasons I hate UPS but they do it all the time everywhere.

Anyway, the big one of the two that didn't lock is fixed. Someone simply took it apart and stuck both washers on the lock side. On this knife BenchMade made the non lock side washer much bigger in diameter for outside diameter to prevent the lock from physically leaving the blade when it wears in to that point of crossing the contact completely.

That bigger washer simply blocked the lock. It was a 30 second fix.

Wish they were all that easy.

On the second one with the rattle stop pin. Very common on eary Emerson/BenchMades and Emerson folders to this day. Kind of hard to be stealthy with a rattle on you but go figure. Anyway, the pin is 5/32. Other than sticking something in behind it on one side I don't know what to do to stop it. I don't have a screw down type in that size. I could recut one slightly longer off the end of a drill bit but really this one is so close I'll just wedge something in under one scale and screw it down and that should take care of it. You'll never know its there. Just a small down end cut the same size will shush it up.

Great you can hold off on mailing them back untill you get the cqc14 scales done, and im also going out of town tomorrow and will be back wensday, i dont want them just sitting in the mail box. Thanks alot just let me know how much i owe you. :D
