Benchmade/ Emerson CQC7 Titanium

I seem to have a problem with my CQC7 Ti Blade. When I open the knife ( done it twice now) I hear a slight grinding noise.. Is this due to the Titanium blade rubbing against a titanium liner? HELP!

Justin,
For what its worth I own two of these and they both are gritty and noisy when I open them. Mine were purchased about a year apart so it's apparently not a case of a bad batch but rather the norm for this knife. I wouldn't worry about it.
