Hey guys I'm considering either the emissary or the 300sn flipper from benchmade and was wondering which one you guys thought made a better all use edc/fishing/camping knife. The emissary is good for edc but I am hesitant whether or not it can handle anything other than normal cutting.

The 300SN is definitely a beefier, bulkier knife. When you hold it in your hand it just feels well built and strong. The G10 on it is grippy and comfortable, and just has great ergos. For a harder use, general knife, I'd get the 300SN over the Emissary.

Yeah, I went in to a local store to buy a 586 mini-barrage and ended up deciding on a 300sn flipper. Ended up having to order it online. Can't wait to get it. Loved the feel of the knife and it's not bad looking either.

The 300SN is my favorite purchase of 2013 so far with the possible exception of my ZT561. It is is chunky, thick, and heavy, but I love it! Once broken in and well lubed, the Axis flipper is silky smooth. The blade also has excellent cutting geometry. It works like a champ in the garden and food prep. If you don't have to have a thin and light knife, you should check one out!

Thanks guys! Ford...I got a Mini Barrage 585 from my gf and I love it so I would definitely say you should get one eventually! And thanks Anthony I have a ZT 350 and I love that blade!
