Pictures from my recent visit to the Benchmade Factory in Oregon City.

Pictures not the best - I spend money on other things besides new electronics.

These include knife displays and other neat things found in the store.

If you are in the area, I recommend it.

Plan on spending a few bucks. They do charge full retail here, but they have items that are rare or impossible to find. No sales tax in Oregon.

Benchmade Guys: I loved your store, but maybe a little off retail would be nice.

Blems and seconds are not available, as they are at the Buck Knives store in Post Falls and the Spyderco Outlet in Golden.

Enjoy.

Hi 87Burban -

Awesome!

I wish to get there someday.

What were the models that you can only get there?

Thank you for taking pictures - I enjoyed them!

best regards -

Looks like the Apparition, a Pika style knife, H&K 14*** series, and I cannot tell what the other one is.

Don't know the "Rare" models. I did tell the store attendant that I was going to post on bladeforums, so he wanted to be sure to post pics of models he said were for walk in customers only, and could not be ordered by phone. I am no Benchmade expert, so I trusted what he said. From what I saw, they have every catalog model, and some that are not in the catalog at all.

I believe you have an AFCK in your left hand and can't remember the name of the other. Super Jim has two Snody designed folders. The 425 and and 420.

All four are long discontinued.

Sounds like a great pilgrimage that I might need to do! I am a fan.

Thanks for the pics. I really need to check it out. I think I'm only about 45 min away. I've been to Kershaw a couple times and love it. There appears to be some very cool knives there that are pretty tough to find anywhere else, too bad its MSRP though.

You'd think, with me living relatively close, that I'd have made that trip before. Next time I'm up that way I'm definitely stopping in there.

Thanks for the pics!

:D:thumbup::thumbup:That was great! Thanks for the tour. I really enjoyed that. The youngman in the photos looks pretty happy as well!!!:)
