Benchmade fixed blade resistor

I dunno, I don't really like the shape of the resistor's spine...doesn't really do it for me, screams form over function...

If I won the lottery, maybe I'd be able to afford all the knives I want. This news doesn't help  ;)

Hehehe. That's so true. Simply too much temptations out there. It seems like it's almost my destiny that everytime when I am happy and content with the "last" knife that I have acquired, somehow I am just "lucky" enough to know that another cool model that catches my eyes is coming out to the market. I was in search of a nice and durable fixed blade since last month and I am planning to take it with me whenever I am doing any outdoor/wilderness activities, sorta selecting a quality fixed blade that I will love to use and own for the years to come. The candidates were SOG trident, Buck/Strider Solution, Buck Mimi Alpha Hunter and the Benchmade 180. The verdict: The sizes of the SOG and the B/S are too "major" to my taste for a camping and riding/hiking company knife and it also seems too serious to use in household situations like cooking, the Mini Alpha is a bit too short for me and so I am decided to get the BM 180.... and then, just before I go to sleep, I read this thread and was sorta stunned by the specs and beauty of the Resistor. :D

Though this time I am glad that I successfully "resisted the Resistor". :D Must stick to the good "old" 180 now.

Spyderco Ronin handle with a more durable blade, this may be one of the best designs for combination neck- or belt-carry. The sheath design also looks good for combo carry.

I would prefer more taper-down in handle profile toward the butt of the handle to reduce 'printing' in neck-carry, like the real Spyderco Ronin handle.

The Spyderco Ronin was designed by Mike Janich and made by Mike Snody before Spyderco was making them, it is the Snody Ronin. He also makes this knife, this is just Benchmades production version of his custom :)

Is the Snody fixed blade available through online dealers? I can't seem to find it anywhere.
