Benchmade Fixed CSKII Combat Survival Knife

I have the CSK I (CE in D2) & it's a great knife. At first, I was going to get rid of it (Tried to sell/trade it), but have decided against it. I believe the I & II are pretty similar, except the I has D2 & the II has 1095 (Which is not bad at all & probably easier to sharpen).

Personally, I think these knives are a bargain & underappreciated. If you see one for a good price, by all means, get it.

Good luck.

I'd go with the II before the I. The BILT handle assembly system is joke, and is effectively a cheap way to put the blade on. Everyone knows that tension on a bolt is a bad thing if lateral stress is applied. This should not come into play for the smaller hunting style BILT knives, but it will on a survival blade.

The II looks comfy, and you can't go wrong with 1095!
