I am partial to Benchmade knives as I have had some nice luck with them in the past, I dont know their line very well though. I am looking for a fixed blade drop point hunter for cleaning deer, moose and the odd small game as well as field work. Lets try to keep it under $100, Thanks

I'm sure it's possible to find a model 190 somewhere for under $100:

If you want something a little longer and cheaper your best bet would probably be a model 10502:

I have a model 190 Drop-point Hunter and has been my favorite skinning/gutting blade for years. The blade is very thin, perfect length, handle is very nice for control and fills the hand just enough, and the sheath is excellent. The blade shape is why it is my favorite, perfect execution of a drop point IMO. The balance of belly to point rise is great for tip cutting and belly cutting without having to change your grip. I usually use it with my pointer finger along the spine of the blade and gripped in my three remaining fingers, it's like you're cutting with your fingernail. D2 is also an excellent steel for cutting flesh because it maintains a slightly coarse edge that will cut through fur and meat alike. Benchmade did really well on this one.

The fixed blade Griptilian is only about $60 and it's a great ergonomic design that would be perfect for hunting chores.
