Just wanting to get some info and opinions on the Foray. Not looking to buy now but maybe in the future.

Hey Seth!
I picked one up off the Exchange a few weeks ago. Really wasn't liking for one, but I'm a BM fan and it was going for a good price.
I am really glad I grabbed it!!
It is super solid! Fills the hand nicely & comfortably!
Excellent blade steel with an awesome blade profile!
The decorative Axis and pivot screws are really cool!
The action is as perfect as an Axis system can be!
I could go on and on!!!
The knife impressed me.......big time!!

Thanks for info. I just sold 4 of my knives recently so I've been looking around at some knives. And the Foray was one that caught my eye.

Foray is one of the best Benchmade folders of the past two years. It's very solid with thick liners, deep pocket carry, comfortable hold, nice G-10 and premium 20CV.

Another nice couple of Benchmades that came out last year are 940-2 with G-10/S30V and 940-1501 with G-10/20CV.

I've had one for a few months but haven't carried it yet. There's no reason for that except that I have too many others I'm trying out. I think it's a great knife, one of the best newer Benchmades I've picked up. The only negative that I would give it (having only messed with it some at home) is the slight recurve on the blade. I would rather that was just a straight edge. It is a small knife. Much like the 484 it's smaller in person than it seems like it would be from photos (at least to me). Actually, I just pulled both out to compare them and the Foray and 484 are very similar in size with the Foray's handle being slightly longer.
