Luv this knife.Just cant get enough of it from the way it looks and feels and the quality but why did benchmade drop it off its list? Am i the only one who thinks it was a great knife and design or am i crazy! Yours thoughts would help! Just bought another one since theres no hope in the future for them to bring it back. Thanks

I like mine - it's got a wicked point. The liner lock is fitted very precisely, in fact it's almost a frame lock.

Very nice knife, as is the Hybrid too.
It is also deceptive in appearance....it looks uncomfortable but it actually feels very nice in the grip.

Sweet knife.
Even nicer after I put an Emerson clip on it; looks even better now.
Strong blade, solid lock-up, and a liner-lock on steriods; what's NOT to like???

I love the knife. It is one of my absolute favorites. It fits my hand perfect, its very comfortable, its has a cool design, its really really tough, and it locks up solid.

I love the benchmade axis lock but this knife has kicked my axis lock benchmades out of my pocket (atleast most of the time)

As for why its gone, that is anyones guess. Benchmade makes good knives but they dont give much reason as to why they do things. It could be that the knife didnt sell well, or it could be that they only had a limited contract with Mike Snody for that particular model, or it could be that they discontinued it to be able to produce other knives. Im just glad i got one in time. I would love to get a custom snody but price and availability make that impossible atleast for now.

I love the Gravitator and Resistor... I just got the Gravitator and have been carrying it for about a week. Love the knife... I equally enjoy the Resistor, but the weight of it becomes annoying from time to time. The Grav is MUCH lighter. :)

It's kinda funny... I just realized that while I collect Spydercos, I always carry Benchmades. Kinda an odd coincidence...

well i am glad theres others who enjoy them as much as i do just hope they bring them back out sometime in the future! thanks

i've got a "blackened" plainedge Gravitator....I agree with all the positive comments mentioned above....the linerlock is "vault-like" with real beefy Ti liners IIRC...a quality piece for sure esp. at its pricepoint

Yep. Good stuff. Just like the original.

Great looking Snody customs! I have a 426 and have been very impressed with the heavy build BM went with on this series of knives. Blade is .150" thick with thick liners at .085". The lock on mine fits very well with no blade movement detected, and the lock stays put through the spine tap test. And yes, I do the spine tap test to test the lockup.:D

i have a black coated one myself and liked so much i went back and got a unblack one which both are half and half blades! I carry one and i put one up myself just to have a minty one i call it! When i carry it, it dissapears in my pocket because of the design and it just looks so good when open and it screams strong!
