Benchmade Griptilian Black Blade Finish Question

Does anyone know what the black finish is on the updated S30v Griptilians? I’ve found one website that says DLC, but almost all of them just say “black finish.” I looked way back to the initial announcements and threads regarding the S30v upgrades and came up empty. If a link to confirm what it is would be great. Thanks!
