Hi! I’d just like to know a simple difference between the two, in terms of the handle scales. I’ve read and watched a lot of videos already, so i do know the major differences. However i’d like to know more about the handle scales of the standard 560 Freek. Are they sturdy? Do they tend to flex a lot? I do know that the steel liners of the Freek are WAY shorter than the griptilian’s. So how sturdy are the handle scales and how’s the blade play? Is there any “noticeable” side to side blade play? I’m planning to buy a grip, especially after some guys answered my question regarding the handle scales of the grip in my previous thread. But, seeing the freek, it just calls to me too

This would probably be answered better in one of the more general discussion forums, but in my opinion, either knife should be fine under practical use.

I've carried a benchmade 530 on and off for years, which is probably one of their thinnest/lightest in that plastic/nested liner design style, and while it can certainly flex, it's never been an issue under normal use. I can't imagine the grip or the freek being any different.

Buy both and sell the one you like the least. ;)
