I know I have already reviewed this knife, but my last review wasn't satisfactory to me.
I biased alot of the review on the fact that it was my first expensive knife.
So, Im going to do this review as if I have never made a review at all.

BENCHMADE GRIPTILIAN H2O is what I have. This reveiw will cover all Griptilians, but the steel review will be differed.

Blade size: Just under 4 inches
Handle material: Noryl GTX (really stiff, hard plastic)
Clip: Yup. Tip up only, Left and Right
Lock: Yup. Axis lock
Blade shape: Drop point with good belly and lots of flat-cutting-area
Blade material: Lots of different choices. Mine is X15-TN

Novelty additions to the knife:
Very grippy handle
very smooth opening
one handed closing with no need to touch the blade at all
Smooth clip both inside and out to make it easy to remove from pocket and place in pocket
Not-overly-pointy tip
Torx screws in thumb stud (no additional purpose, just a cool addition :-))
Thick blade
Jimping EVERYWHERE

Opinions:
Very tough knife. The plastic handles and low weight give the false accusation that the knife isn't suited to hard use, but it definitely is.
I have cut down small trees with this knife and it takes it all with stride. The X15-TN Holds an edge decently.
A bit tough to sharpen and strop, but when sharpened, it holds the edge decently.
I accidentally scraped the blade down a fence at work while cutting down vines, and I can't seem to get the entire scar out of the edge.

Likes:
Ergonomic
Grippy
Blade shape is great
Clip
Lock strength
Lots of area for your thumb

Dislikes:
Gets dirty inside handle and lock area easy
Took a while to fix the bladeplay
Plastic handle FEELS cheap for what it cost

Tips:
This knife came a bit rough opening and with bad centering. Also kept getting bladeplay.
Loc-Tite was/is A MUST. Give plenty of time for the Loc-Tite to dry.
Using and slightly abusing this knife seemed to make it wear in and the centering fixed itself. Literally.
It also opens like soap on glass now. :D
KEEP THE LOCK CLEAN!!!!!! Bladeplay will come back when the Axis-Lock area becomes dirty.

Overall:
This knife is excellent. It is perfect for that knife you don't mind using for dirty/rough stuff.
The price might seem a bit steep for a plastic handle, but don't let the feel fool you (although it doesn't feel like it).
It can handle your hard use for sure.

Yes, I recommend it. Alot. Im even carrying it now. :D
