Came back from sharpening about 2 weeks ago after i had barely used it for a week since i bought it.

got stolen from my jacket pocket at work today along with some cash.

feels bad...and probably cant afford to replace it.

feeling very bummed

That simply sucks. Sorry to read about your loss DW. Bad Karma to the person that did that deed. :thumbdn:

I hate thieves. I've had a few knives stolen when I was younger.

Im of the thinking. "You can take my cash that i have on me, just leave me my knife". Sorry to hear that.

ya cash isnt bothering me as much as knife.

i hardly got to use it.

i bought it less than 2 months ago and it was gone for like a month to lifesharp service and it came back to only be stolen within a week.

i was starting to love the axis lock and beefy blade of my benchmade.

:(

worst thing is..management doesnt even care enough to go through camera footage..i did give them time window during which it was stolen from the room.

luckily i have my kershaw link as a backup knife.

I had an auto benchmade stolen from my house by a guest. Not sure of the model but it was one our cav guys got in iraq. I had 2 of them so I still got one. On the flip side of that I found a mini grip at my last job on the ground. Still pisses me off to this day about my knife being stolen though...if I had lost it, fine, so be it. But to think some chick, and it was a chick, just grabbed my auto benchmade and took it, probably not even realizing what it was worth pisses me off to no end.

I've lost a few from theft, and subscribe to owning multiples of the same model. There's nothing like having a backup. People and cash can be replaced.

I had two Gerber diesels and a camillus blaze grow legs at a welding job years ago.

May the culprit be struck vigorously and repeatedly in the groin with an iron rod.

I'm really sorry to hear that Darth
I had my entire collection stolen
about a year ago from my house when
I was at work.

Keep you head up man.

I would report the theft to the local PD and tell them that there is probably video footage. They might be interested in looking at the video even if your employer isn't.
Personally, I would demand my employer look at video or reimburse me for the knife. Worst thing they can do is fire you, which isn't all bad, at least then you can tell them to piss off. BTDT!

that is rotten. bad enough you got your knife and cash stolen. worse there is a thief at work......theives dont stop. wonder how much he/she has stolen from the company in stolen time and materials etc. management should care as a thief doesnt stop at robbing just their coworkers.

I lost my first griptillian out of my pocket climbing through blackberries hunting for my 300.00 rc helicopter lost them both that day. the second one lost somewhere in my house.

Nobody likes a thief. Nobody. Including other thieves.

There is something extra irritating about someone stealing a persons knife. Any tools, for that matter. Watches too.
