I just got a $100 gift certificate to Bass Pro, and am having difficulty deciding which knife to buy. Unfortunately I can't buy one of the knives I had planned on purchasing next, due to the fact that I am limited to what Bass Pro carries. I don't particularly like the griptilians that I have seen due to them always feeling "plasticy" and overly light. The same with SOG lockbacks. However the Benchmade Griptilian and SOG Spec-Elite I seem to be the best knives they carry. Has anyone had experiance with either of these and can comment? I have experience with benchmade, just not the griptilian (outside of handling once or twice) and none with SOG.
I am mostly looking for durability, and blade quality... I'm thinking I will use this as a cheap edc knife.
