I just got a Benchmade 550S! I'm in love!

This has to be the best "utility" knife I have ever seen! The Modified Sheepsfoot blade is a wonderful design for general utility. And of course the AXIS lock is great!

The 440C is a nice steel and the zxytel (sp?) is nice and light weight, but why don't they try anthing else? Maybe 154CM or D2 steel with aluminum handles? I'd buy one.

I have the 556 "mini" in PE ( I DID want the 551 with partial serrations, but was "mammon short"
($25). Oh well, I've always fared
better with smaller knives.
GOOD CHOICE on your part, IMHO.
