So I'm looking to get my first EDC folder. And I'm cosidering a H&K folder. Which are better in your opinion, the Benchmade ones or the Boker ones?

Of the two... GET THE BENCHMADE!!! OH GOD, PLEASE GET THE BENCHMADE!!!

Seriously though, I think you'll have way more fun with the axis lock. I also think it's just better overall. The BM HK34 is very underrated IMHO.

Thanks. Let me ask another question in here instead of making another thread. What is the most durable, all-purpose EDC folder I can get, while paying at most $150?

$150 USD can buy a lot of knife. If you go with Benchmade or Spyderco, you can get a very good quality EDC for around $100.

BTW, I don't own any Bokers, but I do have a few Benchmades, and I second the Benchmade HK's.

Hey guys I own a few H&K guns and I love them. I like there guns but aare there knives any good and what are they comparable to? Thanks

I do not know the Boker H&K but I have owned the Benchmade H&K for about 8 months now. I have many knives that I rotate as EDC's but when I needed to travel overseas for 3 months recently the BM H&K was the "tool" I chose to take with me. It has only been needed for mundane cutting tasks but as a "protective tool" it certainly inspires confidence. At no time did I feel inadequately prepared. It is beautifully made and a pleasure to handle. I have the model with aluminum and "rubber" scales but I believe that it is available with G10 scales. The blade (spearpoint) has had moderate use and has never needed sharpening (154CM). As one of many knives I own this one stands out from the crowd.

Are the Benchmade HKs pretty sturdy? How is the 154CM steel? How's the AXIS lock?

Benchmade HK's are excellent. Also, you can get them waved by our own STR. I had that done, and between the axis lock and the wave, it is one of my favorite EDCs
