Benchmade Harley 13100 with non-HD prices?

Will Benchmade ever make a similar designed 13100 HD Hardtail axis lock Buck 110 style for non-HD sales with a much cheaper price? $150 to $250 seems to be the swing on the internet. But that's just too high IMHO. Any rumors of a lower price version?
 
Unfortunately, nothing that I've seen.

I'd be all over it if they offered a model without the Harley Davidson and scull, or a smaller Buck Squire-sized model.
 
I emailed Benchmade with that question last September, asking if they were going to make the 13100 a standard item without the skulls and HD logos. This is their response.

"Right now, we do not have those plans. We wanted to make some
different knives just for the H-D line and keep them H-D exclusive.
Let me know if you have any other questions, or if we can help out in
any other way.

Thanks"
 
I really don't have a problem with all the HD personalization and advertising on the 13100 but I do have a problem with the price. If Benchmade ever decides to do a Buck 110 style axis lock with or without HD or other logos with a much more real world price I'd be all over that as well.
 
Prices will come down.

Picked mine up for the average price of a 710 (and I felt that was a bit low, though, considering the work in the knife).
