I was wondering if anyone knew what the handle material on this Benchmade is. According to the benchmade website, ....

When I bought this knife last weekend I assumed it was kraton.
The only reason I asked was because there are some strange looking white spots formimg near the scalloped ridges........ Soap and water won't take it off. Looking for a safe alternative....
