Benchmade HK 14201 TI Frame lock

:thumbup: just got this knife today and I must say its very nice. Benchmade should put this knife in there blue or black class line. Maybe upgrade the blade steel to M4. I think this knife could compete with ZT knives.

I almost started a thread about this knife yesterday, only my post would have compared the similarities between Benchmade and Cold Steel...

Edit: While I love their stuff, I've pretty accepted that Cold Steel is going to release a knife or two ever year which are very, un-original. I had almost forgotten that Benchmade has the same tendency.

Pretty neat to see a titanium frame lock at that price, but it looks like they took the grip pattern from the ZT 0200 and then put it on something hideously ugly. I guess they couldn't make it too nice, or it would compete with their own lineup...

I think it seems original enough and looks pretty good...curious what is the actual size since the numbers seem off

I got mine a couple of days ago,I really like it, feels lighter than it looks and is surprisingly easy to carry,edge retention is not that bad(cut some carpet) and easy to re-touch.

This is a real knife for the price,F&F is good ,the g10 is way aggressive though you can definitely feel it on your leg, may need to sand it down just a hair.

I would say its about the size of the ZT 350.
