What do you guys think about this knife. I like it has the axis lock, love the 154cm blade steel. It has g-10 handles and is tip up carry. Some of you guys that own it whats your opinion on it?

I'll keep it short:

Best Knife Ever...well probably not the best ever, but I have owned hundreds of knives including many customs, and about a year ago I got this knife and haven't bought another one since. I love the Griptilian knives, but something was missing. This is it! Perfect size for me. Great lock, great ergonomics. I'm sold!

The only new knife I may buy is another to keep just in case.

Actually, I have a couple other wants, but this is the only knife I need!

Great knife. Extremely smooth, solid, and well designed.

That said I sold mine because there were a couple things that I didn't like about it. The slightly recurved blade, the thickness of the handle (great in the hand, not so much in the pocket), and the weight. It's a tank, but therefore pretty heavy for a small knife. I also like lanyard holes, which this knife lacks.

I know lots of people love this knife and I can understand why. However, I prefer the mini grip for all the reasons stated.

Wow, i'd say thats a good review.
I have to say I just saw this knife on their website and I really like the looks. The ergo's like you said look great. I think this one will stay on the list until it's in my pocket.

Anybody else?

There are times when I like having a sub 3" knife in my pocket and the 14210 fits the bill nicely. I've had mine for a few weeks and really like the thing.

I've owned a number of smaller Benchmades like the 350 and 530, but this is the first small knife that doesn't feel like one. From the overall fit and finish to the sculpted G-10, to the recurved drop point blade, my '210 spends a lot of time in my pocket.

From a design standpoint only thing I'd like to see changed is taking those two rather large pivot bolts away for a standard pivot to the left/flat threaded insert to the right.

Still, and aside from that, this '210 is centered, sharp right out of box, and very smooth. I also own the larger 14205 which is great in it's own right, but carry this one more often due to it's easy to carry size. IMO the HK line are some of the best of the current Benchmades.

The 14000 series from Benchmade is one of the best IMHO. You can't go wrong with it.

Smooth
Sharp
Strong
Perfect for EDC
Its a natural
14000 series... one of my all time favorites, go for it!
But I simply prefer its larger brothers 14200/14205

Great knife, and in its price range is for sure one of my favs!!! There really isn't anything I would say is a big drawback, I think you will be very happy with it.

I have a 14255, the larger recurved tanto version (wish I had got the drop point).
It is one of the best designs I own. I love the high thumb ramp, and the handle gets your fingers right up to the cutting edge. Definitely one of the better designs out there.
Just writing this makes me want to get another one.

I used to own one and liked everything about except the handle. The knife was a tank and I enjoyed the blade shape.

The handle is WAY too smooth for my liking. When the knife sits in your pocket the grooves in the handle are vertical and provide no traction to your thumb. My thumb had a tendency to just slide along the knife instead of actually gain traction and allow for easy removal from my pocket. I got rid of it because of this.

I bought a 14210 about a year ago. Really like the knive. A very stong, heavy knive. One thing that I did change was the handles. I had STR replace the original handles which I found too smooth. I put on G10 handles that are have more of a grip.

If I have a complaint about my 14210, that'd be it. Great steel, AXIS lock, fine F&F... just a bit too smooth and slippery to be a real solid worker for me, especially with wet hands or hanging up in the air trying to cut something.

Otherwise, great knife and a perfect EDC size for me. I don't like recurve blades, but I've kept my 14210 in spite of it because I like the rest of the knife so much.

Also wanted to mention that while the knive is overall on the heavy side the blade has a lot of mass. The blade/handle weight ratio is very well balanced. This makes for one of the smoothest openings via the axis lock. The blade flys out like the darn thing is an auto.

Man I really want this knife now. Too bad i'm going to have to wait a little while.
Not one bad review, other than the handle being a bit slippy. Seems like the knife is almost perfect.
Anyone else have anything to say?

Be very careful because reading these reviews shows that this knife affects you ability to spell. It's not 'I have this 'KNIVE', it's 'KNIFE'.

Old thread but I will add...I got one last week and really like this knife. It is very strong and solid. Fits perfectly in my hand. I was looking for a sub $100 folder with g10 and smallish size and this is perfect. I would recommend this knife to anyone.

If someone isn't complaining that a thread has been done before and to use the search, then someone else is complaining about posting to an old thread. I really don't understand the need to post to a thread if you don't like it. The less people post to it, the quicker it goes away.

Also, these posts usually showcase some of the more friendly smiley faces available   :grumpy:  :jerkit: :barf:

As for the knife, the bigger brother 14205 is one of my favorites and I think one of Benchmades best designs.

Seriously??? It's your 7th post and you bring up a 2 year old dead thread just to point out someone's spelling mistake?:confused:

I mean seriously did you really need to point that out?
