Benchmade HK Heckler & Koch Combo Edge Knife HK34FDC

I just got one from e-bay. If you really want a nice and not too large AXIS LOCK knife - take a look at 1 of these - this is sweet!!! and a beauty - do a google or e-bay search. One of the best I've bought!
 
I have always thought that this is sweet looking knife (although I like the plain edge better) and I am torn between about 5 different knives right now and my finances will only allow me one. Also, my wife is beginning to question the money I spend on knife purchases. :o

Choices...choices...choices. :confused:
 
I was surprised when I saw a firearm co. actually use a reputable co. to manf. their knives, and the two co. are seemingly both held in high esteem, not like S&W knives and Colt and well the U.S. Army and their 420 knives...
 
Well, in regards to firearm companies and knives bearing their names, it is well remembered that names are trademarks and therefore bought and sold.

S&W and I believe Colt (the firearms firms) have no control over what knives their respective names are put on.

It is refreshing to see that H&K puts some effort into maintaining their reputation when it comes to products bearing their name.
