So, I was watching UFC today and I noticed one of the fighters had the Benchmade logo on his shorts. Is BM starting to sponsor UFC fighters now or something?

I know that Benchmade presented a one-of-one Gold Class 426 to Randy Couture few years ago.

Haven't heard about any endorsement deals.

The only knife company logo I've seen in the UFC is Gerber's on Rashad Evans's banner.

I'd love to see Spyderco's logo on a fighter's shorts/banner but I doubt it'll happen.

Yeah I noticed that too, more exposure to the younger crowd like me!

Shoot, I thought you meant that the UFC was letting the fighters use Benchmades while fighting. Now THAT would be cool. Oh well.......

There have been BM logos here and there for the past few years. Few and far between though.

Lesnar should get a Benchmade tat to match the knuckleduster sword he has on his chest.

Randy is from Oregon, so he's been sponsored by Benchmade from time to time. They sponsor/ed other Oregon fighters too, such as Matt Lindlind, Nate Quarry, Chael Sonnen, and Chris Leben (all of whom are or have been members of Team Quest, centered in Portland). Chris Leben has also been sponsored Gerber and Kershaw. I've seen other fighters sponsored by Gerber, but don't remember whom (other than Rashad Evans as mentioned above). Kenny Florian has been sponsored by Kershaw. Kenny and Rashad are the odd-ones-out (Kenny being from Mass and Rashad being from Michigan), neither hailing from Oregon. Ka-Bar sponsors Brian Stann, a former Marine officer who received the Silver Star for heroic actions in Iraq.

Now I remember... it was Chris Leben who was sporting Benchmade on his shorts.

The knife company I would expect to be most involved in the UFC would be Emerson.

im pretty sure that when chris leben fought patrick cote he had a benchmade logo on the ass of his shorts
