Benchmade: interchangeable blades?

I have a Mini-Griptilian, and although I like it just fine, I like the idea of Frankensteining knives.

I started wondering if there are Benchmade products which can trade blades and handles. As an example of this, the mini-Barrage blade looks like it would fit a mini-Grip just fine.

Has anybody else ever seen, heard of, or done, a Benchmade blade swap?

Somehow, I get the feeling I asked a silly question....

Not that that's ever stopped me before!

So, is it possible to buy just blades from Benchmade or some other source? I imagine they're pretty protective of their merchandise, but it can't hurt to ask.

As far as I know the presidio/bone collector are they only ones that are interchangeable. The rest of them might look like they are interchangeable but the pivots won't match up. The only reason the presidio/bone collector works is because the bone collector is essentially g10/walnut sheep's foot presidio, the handles are identical.

I think that mkjellgren is correct. I believe in years past, the old 705s and newer 707s could swap blades, but other than that, the BC / Presidio series is the only one I know of that swaps easily.
