Benchmade is making a mini Skirmish!

Looks like Benchmade listened to the masses and is making a Skirmish with around a 3.5" blade. It is the model 635. I also like the handle decorations on it better than the colored dimples on the 630.

Now all I have to do is wait for them to be released.

I will definatly be all over this one. The 630 is one of the very few production knives I wish I had a second of. The 635 will definatly be a best seller. I hope they hit the streets fast as the wait on these will be killing me :(
 
If only i lived somewhere where dealers actually ordered new knives.

I love the blackwood designs, maybe this would be worth picking up ;o
 
thanks for letting us know. I sold a special limited edition of my 630 cos it was way too big for carry....boy will I be all over this puppy....

any idea when ETA is...?
 
I heard they are already being produced, so they will be ready for sale right after SHOT, unlike last year where the new model was produced like every month after.
 
Here's what was said by Mr.Winks:

"Ok guys, here's the really good news. Angie told me that all the new knives are either in stock or in production! No waiting till Fall for the new stuff!"

So hopefully the new knives will start shipping out shortly. There is no mention of which ones are in stock though, and which ones are still in production. So I take it to mean that some of the new knives will be available within the month (I hope) and some will be available not too long after.

:eek: ...maybe I will be selling my Strat after all if they're gonna be out that soon.
 
Why couldn't they have these on the market before Christmas? :) Now my wife is taking a half year off work to care for our new born and we have to watch our budget, which means no new knives for me until the fall. :(
 
Oh wow. That IS a great handle design. I'll go with whoever said this would be a winner.....because it will!
 
Now my budget is in serious trouble. I really like the 630 design, but it is just too big for my use. But this one is a whole different story. It now occupies one of the top spots on my wish list.
