Benchmade Killian Tomahawk in 4140

IIRC, I believe Soldier Systems had a blog entry saying Benchmade updated their product with slightly new features.

look at the deeper cutouts, that's one big difference. Maybe the weight is less?

Same tomahawk Benchmade made before but deeper cut outs as Foxx said. Also has rounded off handle as well. If they slighty reduced the material to lighten the hawk, you wont really notice the difference in hand on a hawk this heavy. It certainly looks a lot cleaner though.

The new Tomahawk is our 172BKF. We have moved to a forged 4140 tomahawk with a differential heat treat for added strength where needed. Forging also allows us to add a slight bend in the pry bar for increased leverage. The weight is the same as the previous model. We also added a more tactical oriented sheath with multiple mounting locations including molle, paracord, hard mount with screws, or just straight carry.

The pics make it appear to have no "apple seed" grind, is that the case? How is the edge/grind, still more of a breacher?
