What other manufacturers are as good or better than benchmade?

Well, seeing as this is the Buck knives forum, I would have to say Buck. But then if you asked this over in say the General blade discussion forum you just might get a different answer.

Yea really, what answer did you expect?

I love it when people go into specified forums and ask what brand/type knife they should get.

So Buck seems like a decent brand by my experiences.
Spyderco is good too.
Love the BM axis lock.

Anything but CRKT.

I can honestly say, that of all the knives i use everyday, Buck is the best!
(Of course I would not be caught dead with anything else for obvious reasons )
