Benchmade Knock Offs & Fakes

Is Benchmade having any problems with fakes being made and sold as the real thing?
The reason I ask is because I also hang out in the Spyderco forums, and they seem to be plagued with this problem. This has me concerned.

Every major knife maker or contractor has fakes being made. There are even a bunch of cold steel fakes out there.
