Over the holidays I stopped in a local mall knife shop and found new Benchmade Leopard Cubs available in either black or silver finish. I was surprised to see them since they have been out of production for a while. The dealer apparently bought a bunch before production was stopped and hoarded them for a while. I handled one and I must admit that they have a very nice feel to them and are high quality. They are asking $100 for them. Is this a reasonable price? Also, what do you folks think of the Leopard Cub? Do you know if they are available from any internet dealers? Thanks for your comments.

$100 is a shopping mall price for these knives. It is not uncommon to find discontinued knives at brick & mortar dealers. Whenever I go to a shop I see something older. The Leopard Cub is good knife and if you want it, get one. If price is an issue, search the net, in recent issues of Blade, I have seen Leopards being advertised at cheaper prices.
