Up for sale is a very rare Benchmade Balisong Butterfly knife model 49-01.
It is an amazing knife and probably the sharpest thing you will ever own. It is a serial number 043 of a limited edition of 100 pieces made in 2001. It is 9.4 OAL open and 5.2 when closed. It has a 4.2 blade made of ATS-34 with a hollow ground high polish Kris blade that is amazing. The blade ricasso and the metal of the stainless steel handles are satin finish and the handle inserts are Cocobolo. It features a spring latch and latch gates and adjustable Torx pivot pins.
I am the first owner of this knife and its condition is 100% perfect. I have not flipped it and I know the store owner did not either. I have known him for years and just found out the he had this knife tucked away in the back room. I got a bit carried away and snagged it up quickly.
I am not proficient enough to use it safely and figured since it would probably just sit in the safe that someone else would get more enjoyment out of it.
It is in its original box which is fine but has some marks in the satin lining where the handle ends rubbed into the fabric and the foam insert is showing age and cracking a bit.

PayPal is fine when shipped to your confirmed PayPal address or you can send a USPS Money Order; these are the only two types of payment that I will take. I will not ship this knife outside the USA.
