I just got a refund on (of all things) an Al Mar Nomad. To be honest - it felt flimsy compared to a 705. The blade shape is interesting, but the liner lock is NOT on par with an S2K and the one I got had vertical blade play and would not pass a spine whack test. The fit and finish on this Al Mar just wasn't up to that of other ones I have owned and certainly isn't up to the 705.
