Benchmade logo discs

I need some help replacing the lost butterfly logo disc that have fallen off the handle. Benchmade no longer stocks this item. The mod.looks like a AFCK 800. Any help would be appreciated. I love this knife and want to keep in good shape. Thanks

Did you ask benchmade? They told me even if its a discontinued item they would make parts for it.

I called Benchmade and was told they don't stock this item anymore. Thought somebody out there might have a solution

Does anyone even read the post anymore? And I highly doubt Benchmade is going to whip up a part if they no longer have any for one knife, especially a logo that doesn't effect the function of the knife.

I don't have any pics, but both of the logo discs fell out on one of my original 800's. I cut down some carbon fiber and made filler discs. Looks ok to me, others may not agree. You could always use a different material and make a new piece of some sort, or check around for someone who's customized their AFCK and is looking to part out the original scales.

I don't think you read my post. I called them saying if my 615 needed a new say...blade or handle would you make one, they said YES even discontinued items we will still replace parts on them.

I did read your post and I have talked to Benchmade numerous times and they will replace the part if they have a replacement in stock. I have a discontinued knife right now that I need a new blade for and all they have are black coated blades that cost more. I don't want that but there is no way they are going to tool up their machines to make one blade for a knife that hasn't been made for a couple years. Call them back and ask again because who you talked to doesn't know what they are talking about or someone heard something wrong.

I have needed parts in the past and they didn't have them so I was SOL. I have also wanted to replace a different blade and all they had were combo edge which I also didn't want.

He also said he contacted Benchmade and they didn't have them which is why I posted my first post.

I think i'll send my knife in for a sharpening along with a note to replace the lost logo disc. Maybe they might mysteriously just find some!
