hello people, i need a quick advice..
i need to buy a knife for some food prep and just to have it with me on my trip to mountain house..
i wanted to take Mora Companion MG, its cheap and good knife, but in all stores around me they only have pink Moras :barf:
another solution is Benchmade Lone Wolf Hunter, but i cant find any reviews on that knife.. so if anyone can help..

The Lone Wolf hunter is a nice value knife. For me, the handle didn't feel as good as the Enzo Trapper. the rubber scales feels cheap and I don't like the factory sheath. My next project is to put a new scales on it.
Oh yeah, it is hollow gound. I prefer a Mora with a saber/scandi grind.

i need it for this weekend, i cant wait for online delivery, my store will get it in the end of januray but cant wait that long either..

I want to know how is the blade of Lone Wolf Hunter, i cant find any data on that, on Benchmade website theres only say "stainless steel"
handle and sheat is easy to replace.. :)

not quite sure about the blade, but Knifeworks listed them as 8cr13Mov, should be right since it is made in China. It feels like 8Cr too on my stones. I haven't used it long enough to test the wear resistance. But it takes a great scary sharp edge quick.

i send a message to a guy who make custom handles and folders, but didnt get the answer yet..
is this Hunter so bad when no one recommends it?

im so lucky, i find Companion MG in one store, their web shop said that there is no MGs left but i want it to be sure so i called and it turned that they still have 2 MGs..
i got a good knife and save some money, thanks people
