Benchmade Mel pardue 3550

Hey, does anyone know what factory edge angle the benchmade Mel pardue 3550 comes with? And what's the best setting to use on the Sharpmaker?

BKC sharpens by hand. The factory angle can be anywhere from 20 to 24. I would try for something in that range. If you know the old Sharpie trick of coating just the edge of the blade it helps to see if you're getting the angle right on your SharpMaker.

Correct and concise. Sharpie trick isn't too effective because generally the angle doesn't remain the same
From heel to tip, however it can save time.
